Chilly Half Marathon Goals

When I first signed up for this race, my goal was to run it a marathon race pace

(which is 5:42/km - 2:00:16 half marathon).

Then I started talking to people in my clinic who are also running and found that Steph wanted to run it in 1:59:00.

We decided to run together.

Then, I started thinking - what's a minute?

My PB is 1:58:32.

Surely we could beat that.

Then I worried about the weather.

The wind.

The 10am start.

Then I printed out a pace band:

I figured I might as well go for it.

There are LOTS of peeps running this race - if you see me, please say "Hi" or cheer loudly!

Steph and I will love the support.

  3. Good luck tomorrow. The wind seems to have died down so hopefully it will be great conditions for teh run tomorrow!
